The Process - It starts with a meeting.
Our Goal is to educate not sell. Even if you don't become a client we want you to have a better understanding of your investments and how to plan for retirement.
Upon scheduling the Discovery meeting you’ll receive a Client Questionnaire which focuses on many different aspects of life; all of which have an impact on you financially. Some areas we touch on are work, your hobbies, family, spending habits, and investment objectives. The Discovery meeting is meant to identify your goals in life. It is from this discussion that we begin to build your personalized financial plan.
Our next step is an in-depth analysis of your current financial situation. We create a Statement of Net Worth, project Retirement Cash Flows, analyze your current investments, and provide our Investment Recommendations. We meet one last time to walk you through the results and answer any questions. After this meeting, you will have a clear picture regarding your current financial situation, where you need to be, and how we can help you achieve your goals.
At this point we are ready to implement the plan. Once you understand our investment philosophy and recommendations we can invest the portfolio. We keep you updated throughout the entire process so you know exactly what is going on with your portfolio. Once implemented, we will monitor the portfolio and make necessary changes as needed – examples that would require changes to the portfolio could be; changes in your goals, target retirement date, income, spending, and risk profile. Our goal as financial advisors and fiduciaries is to ensure your portfolio and life goals are aligned – we are here to teach, not sell.
